Revino Launches Reusable Wine Bottles Across Oregon
We’re excited to share that Greg Norton from Salem Reporter covered the launch of Revino’s refillable wine bottles, the first of their kind in the nation! As Norton highlighted, by the end of this season, we anticipate bottling 60,000 cases of Oregon wine in our reusable bottles, which can be refilled up to 50 times. This system not only reduces waste by diverting 320 tons of material from landfills but also avoids nearly two million pounds of CO2 emissions after just three fills. Our bottles are easy to spot, with “refillable” embossed along the bottom and an outline of Oregon state in the punt, signaling our commitment to sustainability.
A Network of Partners Driving Sustainability
In his article, Norton also shines a light on the incredible network of wineries supporting our mission, from boutique labels like Et Fille Wines to larger producers such as Willamette Valley Vineyards. These partnerships, amplified by the efforts of the Willamette Valley Wineries Association, are helping to build a sustainable, circular system for reusable wine bottles. We’re thrilled to be working on expanding this system even further with Bordeaux-style bottles and screw-top closures, thanks to the support of wineries across Oregon. A big thank you to Greg Norton for showcasing how we’re striving to make a lasting impact on the wine industry and the planet!
